This workshop is designed to provide an overview of the elements and processes connected to grant development for local non-profits, government staff, and small business owners. Each workshop will provide participants the tools to apply the content covered through a variety of hands-on activities. The content for the workshop consists of a morning and afternoon session. See Schudule below.
Speaker: Dr. Diane Cox
Dr. Cox’s interest in underserved communities began in college. She worked in urban schools as a teacher, then as an administrator. As a district administrator, she collaborated with colleges for external funding. At SIUE, as Director of Grant Development, she links university resources with community needs. Her work has expanded to aiding businesses and organizations, in identifying funding and conducting grant workshops.
PLEASE NOTE: We're hosting identical workshops at two different locations. You only need to sign up for one location. However, if you wish to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, there is separate sign up for each.
